A series of compact plate heat exchangers, Alfa Laval GLX, features a cross-flow arrangement with large plate gaps, allowing very high flow rates on the gas side. The gas side has a fully open inlets and outlets, as well as a plates design, that ensures maximum volumetric flow rate with exceptionally low pressure drop. Alfa-Laval delivers GLX heat exchangers in the form of modules. This provides greater flexibility, as units can be combined into larger systems to optimize performance for various applications and operating conditions.
