R404A is a refrigerant commonly used in low- and medium-temperature refrigeration applications. The use of R404A, due to its high Global Warming Potential (GWP), is limited. Alternatives to R404A are refrigerants with lower GWP values, including R449A, R448A, R407F, and R407H, among others. In terms of safety classification according to ASHRAE, R404A falls under Class A1.

R410A is a refrigerant that is a replacement for R22 and R13B1. R410A finds its use in residential, commercial and industrial air conditioning systems. Due to the similar boiling point of all R410A components, this mixture can be used in some centrifugal compressors as well as in low-temperature applications. R452A is a non-flammable blend of HFO/HFC refrigerants. Due to its similar thermodynamic characteristics to R404A, including a low discharge temperature, it is an excellent replacement for R404A, particularly in refrigerated transport applications.
