The range of GVN OS.HR consists of spiral oil separators equipped with an oil storage chamber. The oil separators are available with soldered ODS connections in sizes ranging from 7/8" to 3 1/8" and a tank capacity volume from 5.8 to 32.7 litres. They are dedicated to refrigerants from HCFC and HFC groups, as well as R410A, R290 (propane), and R717 (ammonia). They can operate with a maximum working pressure (PS1) of 33-45 bar. Spiral oil separators are designed to work with spiral and reciprocating compressors, and their use with screw compressors is not recommended. They have been manufactured in accordance with the CE Directive 2014/68/EU [PED] on pressure equipment.
GVN OS.HR spiral oil separators with a tank perform oil separation in the same way as spiral oil separators. Unlike the OS.H series, they do not have a float system and are equipped with an oil storage chamber. The oil, which separates on the spiral surface, is filtered and collected in the chamber.
Since they do not have a float system, they are suitable for high-pressure lubrication systems. They cannot be directly connected to reciprocating and spiral compressors. It is recommended to use them together with the DEKA electronic oil level controller.
