The GVN OS.HF range of spiral oil separators features a unique flange design that significantly simplifies maintenance and ensures efficient operation. It helps prevent potential blockages, contributing to continuous, high system performance. The separators are available with reservoir volume ranging from 2.2 to 43 liters and are suitable for use with HCFC and HFC refrigerants, as well as R717 (ammonia). They are rated for a maximum working pressure of 33 bar. Manufactured in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED).
Spiral oil separators are designed for use with scroll and reciprocating compressors and are not recommended for use with screw compressors.
The purpose of oil separators is to properly separate oil from the discharged refrigerant and to ensure the most effective return of oil to the compressor. This helps maintain the oil level in the crankcase and increases system efficiency by minimizing excessive oil circulation.
