The range of Universal Liquid Receivers GVN HV. Designed for flexible integration into various types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Thanks to their construction, they can function as both vertical and horizontal receivers, making them exceptionally practical in applications where space optimization is crucial. HV series receivers are compatible with refrigerants from the following groups: HCFC, HFC, as well as R410A, R744 (CO₂), R290 (propane) and R717 (ammonia). Manufactured in compliance with Directive CE 2014/68/EU [PED], they are approved for operation at maximum working pressures of 33 and 45 bar. Available tank capacities range from 25 liters to 200 liters.
HV.45b series refrigerant receivers are designed for subcritical CO₂ applications. The units have been corrosion-protected through a 500-hour salt spray test, ensuring long-term durability in demanding operating conditions.
Liquid receivers provide protection for the refrigeration system against constantly changing refrigerant demand, ensuring proper gas circulation within the circuit. They act as a buffer between the liquid refrigerant and hot gas on the high-pressure side of the system, preventing hot gas from entering the evaporator. Additionally, they serve as a reservoir for collecting and storing refrigerant from the system when maintenance is required.
Optional Rotalock valve configuration allows servicing of the refrigeration installation without the need to remove the refrigerant from the system.
