Danfoss AKVA series of electronically controlled expansion valves, mainly designed for ammonia refrigeration installations. The valves can be used for flooded (high/low pressure) evaporators, liquid separators and pressure-fed systems. They are specifically designed for operate with R717/NH3 and R744/CO2 refrigerants, but are also suitable for use with traditional refrigerants from the HCFC and HFC groups. They are characterized by durability and long service life, providing precise temperature regulation to guarantee high food preservation quality. The nominal capacity range of the AKVA series is from 4.72 to as much as 2,955.00 kW, with a maximum operating pressure of PS 42 bar. Integration with the ADAP-KOOL® system ensures optimized valve operation.
