The series of Danfoss AKV electronically controlled expansion valves is designed for precise regulation of refrigerant supply in evaporators in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, as well as in reverse cycle systems such as heat pumps. The valves have been adapted for operate with refrigerants: R134a, R22, R23, R404A, R407A, R407C, R407F, R407H, R410A, R422B, R422D, R438A, R448A, R449A, R449B, R450A, R452A, R463A, R507, R513A, R513B, R515A, R515B, and R744/CO2, with nominal capacity ranging from 0.22 kW to 453.40 kW. Danfoss electronic expansion valves are designed for refrigeration systems in food retail stores as they ensure safe and reliable operation. They stand out above all for their excellent flow control, even for low flow rates, and the tightness of the cooling circuit.
Electronically controlled expansion valves provide precise temperature control, long life, simple service and low maintenance costs. The range also includes versions dedicated to operation in supercritical CO2 systems with a maximum operating pressure of 140 bar.
The AKV valves are supplied as a parts programme with separate valve body and coil (with terminal box, cable or DIN plug) and have an exchangeable orifice. Are intended to operate with Danfoss ADAP-KOOL series controllers.
