The range of Carel EVD mini superheat controllers intended to manage and control of electronic unipolar valves. Single pole controllers with a simple configuration regulate the refrigerant superheating and optimize the efficiency of the refrigeration cycle. They provide high system flexibility, compatibility with various types of refrigerants in applications with refrigerators, chillers and air conditioners. They ensure basic and advanced features through an intuitive user interface. Configurable via Modbus protocol. EVD MINI can be equipped with a LED display to show the value of superheating and any active alarms or to perform start-up actions. It requires only three parameters: refrigerant type, operating mode and superheat setpoint.
The controllers have the functions of superheating protection (LowSH), high evaporating pressure (MOP) and low evaporating pressure (LOP). Emergency power supply -13 Vdc possible after installing the Ultracap module.
