The range of Alfa LU-VE FMDX commercial air coolers with dual discharge, designed for use in small and medium-sized refrigeration and freezing rooms. The low noise level makes them particularly suitable for cooled workspaces and processing areas. These flat coolers are designed to operate with the natural refrigerant CO2, with a nominal capacity range from 1.82 to 15.80 kW. They are equipped with energy-efficient EC fans with a diameter of 350 mm, blowing through the block fin tubes. The maximum operating pressure of 60 bar (85 bar in special execution). Certified by Eurovent.
Optigo FMDX air coolers are equipped with aluminium fins featuring precision cuts that enhance heat transfer efficiency and maintain high performance even under frosted conditions. The corrosion-resistant casing is made of epoxy-coated aluminium, double-painted for increased durability, and complemented by metal fan guards. The aluminium drip tray is accessible from both sides. An additional metal sealing strip between the unit and the ceiling facilitates hygienic maintenance.
In cold rooms operating below +4°C, where frost accumulation may occur, the use of an electric defrost system (E) is recommended. Stainless steel defrosting elements are connected to a dedicated terminal box.
Each heat exchanger is leak-tested using dry compressed air and delivered pre-charged with dry air to ensure internal dryness and integrity.
