Series of Damfoss DMB bi-directional hermetic filter-driers for liquid line applications in heat pumps. Filters ensure quick and effective adsorption of moisture, organic and inorganic acids, and retain all solid contaminants regardless of the direction of flow. Equipped with check valves that ensure refrigerant flow through the filter-drier from the outside of the cartridge to the inside of it. Danfoss DMB bi-directional filter-driers feature a 100% 3A molecular sieve solid element and are particularly suitable for heat pump applications with HFC refrigerants and polyester oils. Applications: traditional refrigeration systems, heat pump systems, air-conditioning equipment, systems working with polyester oils.
Danfoss DMB filter-driers recommended for use with HFO, HC, HFC and HCFC refrigerants. Available in sizes from 05 to 30 cubic inches, with flare and solder connections (copper or copper connections). The built-in check valves in the filter resist contamination and provide minimal resistance regardless of the direction of flow.
During installing heat pumps, the use of hermetic two-way filters can replace up to ten solder joints. This contributes to a reduction in production costs and the number of potential leak points.
