Danfoss ELIMINATOR® DAS acid-removing filter driers are designed for installation in the suction line to eliminate contaminants caused by compressor motor burnout in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems charged with halogenated refrigerants. Each filter drier features a solid core composed of 70% activated alumina and 30% molecular sieves, which adsorbs harmful acids and moisture to protect the compressor from failure. Available in a wide range of sizes from 8 to 60 cubic inches, these filters are suitable for use with HFO, HC, HFC, and HCFC refrigerants.
