We offer a variety of Thermofin air coolers optimized for deep, shock freezing. Coolers designed for floor mounting and adapted to work with the R717 (NH3) refrigerant. Equipped with axial fans with diameter: 500 or 630 mm, which force or draw air from the block fin tubes. Nominal capacity ranges from 19.8 to 168.5 kW. Coolers provide high freezing capacity for all ranges of products, and are used where a rapid drop of temperature is required. Air flow ranges from 16 486 to 111 618 m³/h.

TAFN Thermofin air coolers. It is fitted with standard body made of galvanized steel with RAL 9010 powder coated structure that is durable and has a self-supporting structure. Double insulated trays for low-temperature chambers, fan heaters, lowered defrosting shutters (with or without motor), shut-up and variable fin spacing are accessories available for this series of coolers.

Fins made of pure aluminium with a finspacing of 7.0; 10.0 or 12 mm. Possibility of special versions on request, with a variable spacing, e.g. 20/10 mm, 24/12 mm, 28/14/7 mm, 40/20/10 mm. The variable spacing of the fins ensures longer operation time of the device - greater throughput of tunnels, extension of the time between successive defrosting cycles and energy savings. It is mainly used in cooling chambers, freezing tunnels (Heinen). The fin blocks are defrosted with hot gas or brine.
